After beginning his career as a writer and editor in Charleston, South Carolina, Jon moved to Washington, D.C. to focus on strategic communications. He served as communications director for a six-term member of Congress and later joined a boutique media relations company where he represented a variety of non-profit organizations, corporations and issue advocacy groups. In 2008, Jon moved back to Charleston and founded SeaChange.
Jon has counseled Fortune 500 companies, bestselling authors, national non-profit institutions and one of the largest social networking websites in the world. His clients have been featured in print and broadcast outlets including The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNN, and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”. In 2010, Jon served as editor and ghostwriter on a political book for HarperCollins Publishers that reached the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. His twitter handle is @jonyarian.
Prior to his work in the field of public relations, Caleb earned a Master’s degree studying linguistic anthropology at the University of Chicago and a law degree from New York University. He worked for large corporate and government clients as part of a leading Manhattan law firm before moving to Charleston to join Jon at SeaChange. Caleb now applies his skills and experience in the realms of research, analysis and strategy on behalf of SeaChange clients.
