Jon Yarian founded SeaChange in 2008 after working in Washington, DC, at a boutique PR firm and on Capitol Hill as a congressional press secretary. His clients have been featured in print and broadcast outlets including the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNN and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” In 2010, Jon served as an editor and writer on a political book for HarperCollins Publishers that reached the New York Times bestseller list. He is a partner with Social Venture Partners Charleston.
Jon leads strategy and message development, advises on crisis communications and guides naming and branding projects.
Margaret Pilarski spent seven years working on the editorial side of the publishing industry before joining SeaChange. She previously managed the editorial content for Skirt!, a multi-market women’s magazine founded in Charleston in 1994, and Where Charleston, a local visitor magazine within an international portfolio of travel publications. Her freelance projects have highlighted local entrepreneurs and artists as well as education and recreation. Margaret serves on the Community Advisory Board for the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at the College of Charleston and was a founding member of the Alison Piepmeier Scholarship committee.
At SeaChange, Margaret leads writing and editing services, directs content marketing campaigns and assists with strategic planning.
